A Living Social Pact for a Regenerative Small Town.

The Community Constitution: Hudson is a civic covenant designed to strengthen and rebalance our community through a shared declaration of values: Truth-Telling, Integrity in Action, and Belonging for All. This is not politics or business—it is people claiming the right to define how we live together, with equality and justice for all at the center.

The initiative also includes the redesign of a new civic commons—a “Public Square” for Hudson—complete with a community headquarters, a digital commons, and the gift of a Venus Fountain as a symbol of resilience, inclusivity, and abundance.

A word from our Founder, GG Melina:

Hudson is known for its strong sense of community and colorful citizens. Now is the most auspicious time to define, declare, and claim who we are and what we stand for. In doing so, we unite our citizens and push back against systems that weaken the vitality of our communities and economies.

The American dream was born from the belief that all people are created equal—that anyone, no matter their origins, has the right to become who they truly are. What has been missing are the practical frameworks to make this ideal real: systems that uphold equality as lived practice, not distant promise.

Through the Community Constitution, in partnership with the Culture Coalition, the people of Hudson will create frameworks that honor the wholeness and dignity of every human being and set a living example of what inclusive, regenerative community can be.
